KB+ Use Cases

We now have a number of online use cases available at  – http://www.jisc-collections.ac.uk/KnowledgeBasePlus/Help/Use-cases/

These Use Cases show real examples of how KB+ is being used and its benefits.

They are the results of research carried out during January-February 2015 by Lisa Charnock – Communications and User Research (Jisc). The core aim of this research was to gain a better understanding of how KB+ is used by the library community. Four main use cases were identified:

  • Sharing Information: Share key licence information across your organisation
  • Informing Decisions: Evaluate the value of your subscriptions
  • Avoiding Duplication of Work: Export subscription data to your link resolvers and LMS
  • Keeping up to date: Keeping up to date with journal changes

Many thanks to everyone who contributed and we hope they will be of great benefit to the community.
